GoBright, manufacturer of room and desk management solutions, officially announces the launch of the GoBright Connect on July 1st 2019. First introduced at the Orgatec 2018, the Connect is the next step in smart desk management and hot desking.
Nowadays more and more organisations are accepting new ways of working and this is changing the traditional use of the offices space. With your laptop and internet access you can work from anywhere. But to collaborate and meet your colleagues you go to the office. This means an increase of meeting facility’s and a decrease of personal desks in the office. The effect is large rooms with many flexible desks and the need to find a free desk and your colleague. To start with the first one how can I see on the desk itself if its free of occupied.
Until the launch of the GoBright Connect we will answer the six biggest questions on how and why the GoBright Connect will improve your office life in today’s changing style of working.
Question: How can I see the occupation status of a desk on the desk itself?
Answer: With the GoBright Connect you can check the occupancy of a desk in a blink of an eye due to the changing colours of the led ring. Green, red or Blue, it doesn’t get any easier.
Question: How can I turn a flexible workspace into my personal desk?
Answer: To make a flexible workspace into a personal desk, you just swipe your personal NFC-card or smartphone over the Connect to login. The Connect led ring will turn red immediately and everybody can see that this desk is occupied.
Question: How can I turn a desk into a concentration workspace?
Answer: In the new ways of working you come to the office to collaborate and meet your colleagues. But sometimes you just want to concentrate and don’t want to be disturbed. For those moments you just activate the concentration mode on the Connect by pressing the centre button. The led ring will turn blue and everybody can see that you don’t want to be disturbed
Question: How can I access my personal sit or standing presets at any desk I want?
Answer: If your work at a desk that is height-adjustable you can easily adjust to your sit or standing position. And if your desk has a memory-unit, you can even save your preferred height as a personal pre-set. Nevertheless you always have to return to that same desk to use your pre-set. And what if that specific desk is occupied or someone overrides your preset? With the Connect GoBright brings a “Follow Me” principle, by logging on to a particular desk (Connect) with your NFC card or RFID tag. You even do not need an APP or mobile Phone. After you have logged on, your personal pre-sets are available.I
