New feature: Early confirmation

It happens to the best of us: Your workday suddenly looks different than what you had planned. You might have to visit a client unexpectedly or have to stay home for a personal emergency. Through all the hustle and bustle, you forget to cancel your workplace or parking bookings. Thankfully, GoBright takes over when there’s no check-in at your booked workplace or parking space. After a pre-set period of time, your booking gets cancelled due to inactivity, which releases the workspace or parking space for other colleagues. However, this does mean that the booking has unnecessarily occupied a meeting room or workspace for a period of time. How great would it be, if these kinds of changes and cancellations would be known earlier, providing colleagues with more booking opportunities? Great news: We have found the solution.


A quick reminder

We are proudly presenting a new feature called ‘Early confirmation’. With this feature, users receive an e-mail or notification in the App asking whether they still plan to use their bookings for the next day. Users are then given the opportunity to confirm, adjust or remove unnecessary bookings from the system. When they choose to cancel, their bookings are released and available for other colleagues to use. This way, workspaces and meeting rooms are not unnecessarily booked, and no-shows will decrease. Employees will be able to optimally use all the facilities at the office.

A practical example of this is a company with a limited amount of parking spaces. When employees see that all parking spaces are booked for tomorrow, they may decide to work from home to save themselves the hassle. However, some of those bookings may be unnecessary, as other employees’ plans might have changed. It is therefore helpful to send a reminder to everybody with a booking, so they can adjust all things necessary and keep the platform up-to-date. This way, employees who want to come to the office have all the security and information they need, and the office can be used to its full potential.

In the first release of this feature, it will be possible to activate early confirmation for desks and parking spaces. Meeting rooms will be added later.
