Changing colors of text or icons in maps

You can customize the color of text and icons in Maps by changing the text color or the border (outline) color.

This allows you to improve visibility, match your company branding, or create better contrast depending on the background of your map. Adjusting these settings ensures that labels remain clear, readable, and visually consistent in your maps.

To do this you should go to Settings > Maps and open your map. Select the text filed or the icon and on the side menu click on the color you would like to change – the color of the text or the border color.

Select your preferred color from the Color Picker pop-up window. Once selected, the change will be applied immediately to the text or the icon on your map, allowing you to preview the result in real time.

You can watch the video for a clear, step-by-step demonstration of how this works and how to apply the changes correctly.

If you would like to apply the same color nuance to another text field, copy the HEX value of the selected color and paste it into the Color Picker window of the other text field. This ensures consistent styling across your map.
