Cisco sensor data - Integration guide

Cisco devices are managed centrally through the Webex Control Hub, providing a streamlined way to configure and monitor your devices.

Webex Webhooks use token-based authentication, allowing GoBright to securely validate each incoming request using a shared token. This approach ensures a simple implementation while maintaining a secure and reliable endpoint.

In Cisco terminology, a Workspace corresponds to a Space in GoBright. Within a single workspace, multiple devices can be configured and managed, offering flexibility in how meeting rooms and resources are set up.

Cisco provides three event types for GoBright:

  1. Room in use
  2. People presence (not supported yet)
  3. People count (not supported yet)
