Interact with non-bookable rooms

The Interact now supports non-bookable rooms, allowing occupancy to be monitored and displayed in real time.

When the Interact’s internal or external occupancy sensor detects movement in a non-bookable room, the device will automatically change to an orange status and display the message ‘Occupancy detected’. This provides a clear visual indication that the room is currently in use, even though it cannot be reserved through the booking system.

The occupancy status is also reflected throughout the GoBright platform. On floor maps and in the Map Viewer, the room will be highlighted in red to indicate that it is occupied. Once no occupancy is detected, the room status will automatically return to its available state in green.

This functionality helps employees quickly identify whether non-bookable spaces are currently in use, improving workplace visibility and space utilization.
