Provide reason for change when editing a booking

As a booking manager, you may often need to make changes to bookings on behalf of other users whether it’s for a meeting room, desk, or parking space.

With the new notifications feature to provide ‘Reason for change’, you can now specify the reason behind any changes made to a user’s booking. Whether you’re updating the date, time, or location, this feature allows you to add a clear explanation for the modification. The reason you provide will appear in the email sent to the organizer of the booking, along with information on which booking details were changed.

This functionality is applicable to all bookings of meeting rooms, desks, and parking spaces.

To have this option available, you need to have the rights to make and manage bookings in your User role. Usually, this feature is activated for booking managers and administrators using the GoBright portal.

Example 1: Location of the meeting is changed into another room.

Example 2: Time and date of the desk booking is changed.

Example 3: Date of the parking space booking is amended.
