Office attendance in Week planner

You can now define how many days per week your team or department is expected to work from the office. As a team manager, this allows you to set clear attendance expectations and easily monitor alignment.

Using the Week Planner, you can see an overview of your team’s office attendance and track how many team members are compliant with the defined requirement. To ensure accurate compliance tracking, each user must first configure their Default Week in their Profile settings.

The system uses this information to determine planned office days and displays the results in the “Team members compliant to ‘Days in office’” bar within the Week Planner. The Week Planner automatically pulls and processes this data, giving managers a clear and transparent overview of attendance compliance across the team.

Setting Department

In Admin Center > Users, you can create a new Department.
Enter the department name and Enable policy for the office attendance if you would like to use this feature.

Define the number of days per week you expect your team members to work from the office. You can also add a motivational message to encourage them to meet the defined attendance target.

Further down on this page, you can add department members and assign them a role.

Members can only see their own progress and their compliance to the required number of days in the office.

Manager can see an overview of the office attendance for the members.

Supervisor is not a member of the Department but can also have an overview of the office attendance of the members.

Setting a Default week

Users can manage their personal Week Planner by accessing the Profile area in GoBright.

From the Profile menu, select Default Week, then choose your preferred default office and default team.

Here you can define how your typical week is structured by setting your general working pattern. For example, you can specify that you work in the Rotterdam office on Monday, Tuesday and travel on Wednesday in the afternoon, and spend the end of the week working from home.

Users can change these settings at any time.

Compliance overview in Week Planner

Users with the Manager or Supervisor role have visibility into office attendance progress and compliance metrics.

Users with the Member role can view their individual attendance progress. If they do not meet the defined criteria, they will also see the configured motivational message.

The progress bar becomes fully filled when the defined office attendance target is achieved.
