Interact - Product Information
The GoBright Interact is a versatile and interactive hardware device developed by GoBright that can be used for both Room Booking and Desk Booking. It allows the user to create detailed bookings and view
existing bookings.
The GoBright Interact has a 3.46’’ LCD capacitive touch panel and a LED light to share
visual information of the status of the resource.
The dimensions on the Interact device are:
Width – 10 cm
Depth – 12,5 cm
Height – 3,3 cm
Power supply options
The Interact can be powered in several ways: via a power adapter, a USB-C power cable, or through the desk control box. For more information about these possibilities, please check the article Interact Accessories.
Installation
Before installing an Interact in your GoBright environment, ensure that its Profile is properly configured. You can find more details in the article Configure an Interact profile. Once the Profile is configured, the next step is to commission the Interact to add it to your GoBright environment. For more information, please refer to the article How to commission an Interact.
Internal sensor
The Interact device includes an internal sensor that allows you to accurately measure occupancy. For more information, please refer to the article Interact – Internal sensor.
Mounting Options
The Interact can be mounted underneath or on top of a desk, on a partition wall, or on meeting room walls. Thanks to its compact design, the Interact is also perfect to attach to silence pods, office cabins or other workspaces.
Desk mounting:
– Under the desk with the Desk Slide Mount Kit;
– Fixed on top of the desk using the included back-plate;
– Optionally with the Expansion Box to control the desk height.
Wall mounting:
– Wall mount: Use the included back-plate
– Glass mount: the optional Glass Mount Kit is needed.
There is always at least one cable connected to the Interact.
Connecting options – Network
The Interact can be connected to the network in two different ways:
– WiFi:
- Connecting to WiFi requires 2.4 GHz network with WPA2 or WPA3 with SSID and Password enabled.
- Open WiFi with MAC address filter.
– LAN:
- Connecting to LAN requires the Expansion Box and a LAN (cat-5 or 6) cable.
Firewall settings:
Important: When using an Interact, the firewall must be configured to allow outbound traffic over MQTT (port 8883) over TLS. NTP and DNS must also be correctly configured for the device to communicate with the GoBright platform. The firewall configuration can be found here.
