Hide the text message from the room booking for booking managers

If staff members have the ‘Make and manage bookings’ role, they are able to edit meetings created by other users, even when they are not listed as attendees. In such cases, meeting details could contain sensitive information that you don’t want it to be visible to them.

To protect this information, you can adjust the visibility settings in Settings > General settings. Under the Insight level, instead of selecting ‘All details’, choose a more restricted option.

Please ensure that both sections are configured with similar setting to maintain consistent visibility across the system.

If you leave ‘All details’ visible in the second section, you will not restrict the message for the booking managers.

This will help ensure that sensitive data remains protected while still allowing users to manage bookings effectively.
For example, you can set up the following details to be visible:

Here are the different possible scenarios:
No details – Cannot see the text of the message, also cannot see catering service orders or pre-registrations.
Organiser and persons – Cannot see the text but can see catering service orders and pre-registrations.
Organiser and person amount – Cannot see the text of the message but can see the catering service orders.
Organiser only – Cannot see the text of the message but can see catering service orders.

This is an example of what they could see when they try to edit a meeting organised from another user:
