User Profile and teams settings

In the GoBright portal, you can customize various profile settings and create or manage your teams.

To access these options:

  1. Click on your initials in the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. Select Profile and Teams.

From here, you can:

  • Update your personal information.

  • Change your profile settings to personalize your GoBright experience.

  • Add or configure your teams.

You can also quickly set your status to ‘Do not disturb’. Your colleagues will see that you are unavailable, signaling that you should not be disturbed. Changing your availability helps you control when you can be contacted and maintain focus when needed.

Managing these settings ensures your profile is up-to-date and your team collaboration runs smoothly.

  • Name: Here you can see and change your name.
  • Language: You can set your language in your own GoBright portal, this will not affect the language settings for every other user.
  • Current Password: To change your password, you will need to enter your current password and generate a new password or enter a new password. This is only enabled if you don’t have an integration configured.
  • New Password: You can enter your new password here or generate a new password by clicking on the green ‘Generate password’ button. This is only enabled if you don’t have an integration configured.
  • Generate pin code: With the green ‘Generate pin code’ button a random pin code will be generated for you. This is only enabled if you don’t have an integration configured.
  • Visibility: You can update your availability status to ‘Visible for everyone’, ‘Visible within the team/department’ or ‘Not visible’ to manage how colleagues see your presence. Select from the drop-down menu to change your status.

    Visible for everyone: Every user can see you name on your bookings.

    Visible within the team/department: Only users within your team or department can see your name on your bookings. For other users the name of the organiser would be hidden.

    Not Visible: Your colleagues will not be able to see your bookings, and the organizer would be hidden on your bookings.

  • Detected time zone from your device.
  • License plates: Users can predefine their license plates, which can be used when creating a booking of parking space.

On the left-hand menu, click Teams. Here, you can create your own teams and add colleagues to each team. For more information about Teams management please read this article.
