Installation of GoBright App on Android 12 ProDVX R23 Series
- This is an installation guide on how to install the GoBright app on ProDVX R23 Series displays with Android 12.

Check if your device is on the list of GoBright certified hardware here
- Please follow the steps:

1. Download the Addon for ProDVX R23Series from this link https://install.gobright.cloud/addons/ to the Downloads folder

2. Open the Chromium browser and go to https://install.gobright.cloud -> Meet/Work/Visit -> Android 8 or higher and download the latest GoBright Device App to the downloads folder.

3. Open the app “Files”

4. Open the file: “ProDVX-API-AOSP-v1.2c.apk”

5. Press “CONTINUE” and then “OPEN”

6. Swipe down and press the power symbol:

7. Choose “Restart”

8. When browser prompts, choose “Deny” and close the browser:

9. Select “Files” again:

10. Open the downloaded GoBright app:

11. Press “CONTINUE” and ”INSTALL”
-
12. Press “OPEN” to open the GoBright App
-
13. Allow these settings:

14. Check Connection and Date and time, and click on “Confirm and Reboot”

15. After the reboot, select “Deny” again and close the browser as in step 8.

16. When prompted this screen “swipe up”:

17. Open the “AutoStart” App:
-
18. Press “Start App” and select “GoBright – Device”

19. Make sure GoBright – Device is selected as Start App:

20. Open the GoBright Device App:

21. Activate your device by entering the activation code in your Portal as explained in the article The display shows an activation code
NOTES
*) Regarding the internet connection, we strongly advise to use wired (PoE+) connections for highest reliability.
If you have to use Wi-Fi, please make sure you have disabled the ‘Avoid poor network connections’ and ‘Notify whenever a public network is available’ in the Wi-Fi settings menu within Android. This will increase the reliability, for example when maintenance is done on the Wi-Fi network.

Please note not all Android versions have these options, so these options might not be applicable for your device.
