Installation of GoBright Device app on BoxPC Qbic BXP-350 Android 14
This is an installation manual to install the GoBright Device app on BoxPC Qbic BXP-350. Please follow the steps below.
Check if your device is on the list of GoBright certified hardware here
Important note: GoBright app version full-14.29.apk or higher is needed

Firmware version: v2.14.1
Start up the display
- The BoxPC needs power and connect it with Wi-Fi or PoE+ cable
- (Optional) Perform a factory reset on the device: Go to Settings > Reset Options > Erase all data (Factory reset)
- Select Settings in the bottom-right corner
- Select Player Settings and enable Switch to native android mode by topic Android System
- Press the center bottom HOME-dot in the navigation bar
Download the GoBright Device app
- Swipe up and open Lightning
- Browse to https://install.gobright.cloud and select Meet/Work/Visit
- Select Android 8 or higher
- Select Download GoBright Device App (xx.xx) and confirm by tapping Download
Install the GoBright Device App
- Press the center bottom HOME-dot in the navigation bar
- Swipe up and open Files
- Select the downloaded file (double click)
- In the security prompt, tap Settings and enable Allow from this source
- Select Install and Done (don’t select open)
- Press the center bottom HOME-dot in the navigation bar
- Open Settings and select Player Settings
- Disable Switch to native android mode by topic Android System
- Press the center bottom HOME-dot in the navigation bar
- Press on the magnifying glass symbol and select GoBright – Device
The GoBright app will automatically launch after 20 seconds - The app will request the necessary permissions to operate and manage the device. Please allow or confirm all prompts. If any Android settings are changed, use the Back arrow icon to proceed with the installation
- Check Date and time (change if necessary) and select Confirm and reboot
- After reboot your GoBright Activation Code is presented
With the activation code you’re able to go to the next step and activate the display in the GoBright portal
Notes
*) Regarding the internet connection, we strongly advise to use wired (PoE+) connections for highest reliability.
If you have to use Wi-Fi, please make sure you have disabled the ‘Avoid poor network connections’ and ‘Notify whenever a public network is available’ in the Wi-Fi settings menu within Android. This will increase the reliability, for example when maintenance is done on the Wi-Fi network.
