Interact display not reacting to touches as expected after first boot

In this article we are considering the backup calibration function for the Interact when the touch screen doesn’t react as expected after the first boot.

The older Interacts require a touchscreen calibration. For Interact devices running version 1.8.4 or higher, the recalibration will automatically trigger the first time they boot up.

If a user touches the display during this process of recalibration, the display can become unusable.

As a recovery mechanism, if you place a file called “ExecuteTouchRecovery.txt” (case insensitive) inside the ‘interact’ folder on a USB drive (so next to the logs and OTA folders) it will re-trigger the calibration on boot.
