GoBright Mobile App Quick Use Guide

Users who have access to book meeting rooms, desks, or parking spaces can use the GoBright mobile app to create and manage their bookings.

This article explains all available booking options in the GoBright Mobile App.

Installing the GoBright mobile app

To use the NFC scanning functionality for bookings, your smartphone must support NFC. The app can be installed from the designated app stores on supported smartphone devices:

Booking a Room

  • Log in to the app and choose ‘Search’ at the bottom
  • Select ‘Room’
  • Choose the date, starting time, length, capacity and amenities you need
  • Click on ‘Book a room’
  • Choose the timeslot of the desired room
  • Enter subject and message
  • Select Meeting type
  • Invite attendees if needed
  • Choose ‘Save’

Booking a Desk
  • Log in to the app and choose ‘Search’ at the bottom
  • Select ‘Desk’
  • Choose the date, starting time, length, capacity, amenities and type you need
  • Click on ‘Book a desk’
  • Choose the desired desk
  • Choose ‘Save’

  • You can also book a desk within a zone.

Booking a Parking space

  • Log in to the app and choose ‘Search’ at the bottom
  • Select ‘Parking’
  • Choose the date, starting time, length, capacity, amenities and type you need
  • Click on ‘Book a parking’
  • Choose the desired parking space
  • Choose ‘Save’

Colleague

In the Mobile App, you can search for a colleague’s bookings starting from today. Tap the Colleague icon and select a date, a specific team (or all teams), or the status. You’ll then see which resource your colleague has booked for that date.

By tapping Show on map, you can view the location of that resource on the map.

Colleagues marked as invisible cannot be found in searches. You can change your availability status in your GoBright profile, which can be accessed via the button in the top-right corner of the app.

Add a Connect/NFC sticker

  • Press the menu button on the home screen
  • Select Admin tools from the menu
  • Select ‘GoBright Connects & NFC stickers
  • Press the ‘Add GoBright Connect / NFC sticker‘ button in the bottom
  • Choose ‘Scan address by NFC’
  • Scan the Connect / NFC Sticker
  • Select the correct Room or Desk
  • Press ‘Save’

Add an Interact
  • Log in to the mobile app as an administrator
  • Press the three lines button on the top right corner
  • Select Admin tools from the menu
  • Select ‘GoBright Interacts’
  • Press the option ‘Commission an Interact by QR code’
  • Select the commissioning preset
  • Press ‘Next’
  • Scan the QR code
  • Select the correct Room or Desk
  • Press ‘Save’
  • The newly installed interact will appear in the ‘GoBright Interacts’ list
Commissioning presets

Commissioning presets can also be set in the devices section of the web portal:

  • Log in to the mobile app as an administrator
  • Press the three lines button on the top right corner
  • Select Admin tools from the menu
  • Select ‘Manage commissioning presets’
  • Select ‘Add preset’ for a new preset or select an existing preset from the list
    • For a new preset select ‘Add preset’
    • Name the preset
    • Select the profile to apply to the new interact – These are set in the Devices section of the web portal
    • Choose the connection type WiFi or NTP
    • Choose the Setup settings – Mounting, Desk type, Screen orientation
    • Save the preset

Weekplanner

Setting the default week can also be completed in the mobile app:

  • Log in to your GoBright user account
  • Press the three lines button on the top right corner
  • Select ‘Default Week’
  • Select the ‘Default office’
  • Select the ‘Default team’
  • Choose the daily options
    • Morning, Afternoon, All day
    • Working style – Remote, On the road, Day off, or visiting other offices
  • Save the default week
  • These changes can also be made in the profile area of the web browser application

GoBright Mobile User profile

The user profile can also be edited in the web portal:

  • Log in to your GoBright user account
  • Press the three lines button on the top right corner
  • Select ‘Profile’
  • In this section changes to your user profile can be made
    • View your Pin code if forgotten
    • Change language
    • Add a Licence plate
    • Change your status – Available, Do not disturb, Not visible
    • Set a standing and sitting height if GoBright is integrated into a height adjustable desk
    • Switch app notifications On/Off
  • Select the Profile back button to return to the dashboard

GoBright Mobile App compatibility

Below you will find the compatibility per device:

  • Android devices need at least version 5.1 and later. For more information please check the play store
  • iOS devices need at least version 13.0 and later. For more information please check the app store

Both devices need NFC functionality if you want to be able to check-in with your mobile phone via our GoBright Connect module.

Users who have installed the GoBright mobile app and enabled notifications on their mobile device will receive push notifications. These notifications may include reminders about upcoming bookings, requests to confirm their presence or check in, and alerts when a visitor has arrived.

Note: Users with a licence only for the Visit module would not be able to login and use the GoBright mobile app.
