Team management and bookings
As a team manager, you can have the ability to create team bookings by reserving desks on behalf of your team members. This feature is especially useful when planning in-office days, ensuring that your team is seated together and has the necessary workspace available.
By managing desk bookings centrally, you can:

This functionality helps streamline hybrid work planning and improves overall workplace coordination.
Create a team booking
Note: This feature must be allowed in the user role in the section ‘Other booking-related permissions’
Login to your GoBright portal and go to your Dashboard. At the top left you can hover over the search icon to select ‘Desk’. Then you can switch to the team booking functionality by clicking on the toggle button.
After clicking on the switch, you will get a pop-up window where you can add your team or single attendees to book Desks.
After adding your team members or attendees by name, you can adjust the date, time, and duration, and apply filters for desk types, amenities, and working hours. You can also search for specific desks by entering a name or keyword in the search bar.
Available desks are displayed instantly and can be selected directly. The map shows real-time availability by location and floor, with each desk clearly indicated.The desks listed are available for booking by your team.
You can edit both your team and team members before or after you’ve selected the Desks.

You can edit the booking time for a desk by selecting the pencil icon next to the team member’s name.

To swap desks, simply drag and drop the selected desk to a different one for the team member.

You can also use the map to select a different desk. To remove a desk, hover over it on the map to see the team member’s name, then click once to delete it. Afterward, you can assign a new desk.

To delete an entire desk booking for a team member, click the bin icon.

Once a booking is confirmed, all participants will receive an email with their desk assignment and Team Booking status. The booking will also appear in each participant’s personal dashboard. Participants are responsible for resolving any double bookings and coordinating changes within the team.
Duplicate your Team booking
You can duplicate a team booking and adjust the date and time for the new booking.
Next to the Save button, there is a drop-down menu with a Duplicate option. You can use it to duplicate your existing team booking, adjust the date and time, and then save the new booking.
Create a team
Creating a team requires a role with either “Manage own teams” or “Manage all teams” rights. For more details, please refer to the article on User Roles.
To create a team, go to your profile by clicking your account initials in the top-right corner.
On the next screen, select Teams from the navigation list on the left. You can then add a new team or open an existing team to edit its members.
