Wayfinder display profile
The Wayfinder profile stores shared configuration settings for the Wayfinder displays you use.
To configure your Wayfinder display settings, log in to your GoBright portal and navigate to Settings > Devices > Profiles.
Click the blue ‘Add’ button to create a new profile. Enter a name for the profile and select ‘Wayfinder display’ in the ‘Type’ field.
From there, you can view, edit, or apply profiles to ensure consistent configuration across all Wayfinder displays.
Device settings
The device settings configure how the Wayfinder operates when it is displayed on certified hardware (only applicable when using a certified device). It is recommended to secure access to the device’s local settings with a protected pin codeand to schedule a daily reboot for optimal performance and stability.
Wayfinder settings
You can choose either a Black or White theme for the Wayfinder.
In the Wayfinder section, you can define which room details are displayed, such as capacity, amenities, subject, and organizer.
The Display mode setting allows you to choose between Rows or Blocks, and to specify the number of rows or columns to display. The Wayfinder automatically scales to the screen resolution, but you may need to adjust the number of rows or columns to achieve optimal visualization.
The Page duration setting defines how many seconds each page is displayed. When all rooms do not fit on a single page, the Wayfinder automatically creates additional pages and cycles through them.
The following display mode settings are recommended:
Rows mode
-
Landscape orientation: 3–10 rows
-
Portrait orientation: 10 rows
Blocks mode
-
Landscape orientation: 4 columns, 1 row
-
Portrait orientation: 2 columns, 2 rows
Screen on/off settings
The Opening hours setting defines when the device should turn the display on and off and is only applicable when the Wayfinder is shown on certified hardware.
